Information notice on the processing of personal data pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

This notice explains how Borgo di Lazise processes personal data of people who visit www.borgodilazise.it, contact the property, or use links to request information and book a stay. It does not apply to third-party websites or services reached through links.

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is DANIMAR SRL, VAT No. 04846240234, with contact address at Vicolo Fontana, 1 – 37017 Lazise (VR), Italy.

2. Categories of data processed

Browsing data

The systems used to make the website available process technical data such as IP address, access logs, date and time, browser, operating system and device information. These data are necessary for the website’s operation, security and troubleshooting.

Data voluntarily provided by the user

When a user sends a request by form, email or telephone, we may process their name, contact details and the content of the request. Providing the data needed to handle the request is necessary in order for us to respond.

Bookings

The booking button redirects to an external booking platform. Data entered on that platform are also processed under the information notice of its operator. DANIMAR SRL processes the data needed to manage the enquiry, booking, stay and applicable obligations.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • replying to enquiries and checking availability: steps taken at the user’s request before entering into a contract or performance of a contract;
  • managing bookings, stays, payments and assistance: performance of a contract;
  • meeting administrative, tax, accounting and statutory obligations: compliance with a legal obligation;
  • ensuring security, continuity of service and protection of rights: legitimate interest of the Data Controller;
  • managing cookies and non-essential tools: consent, where required.

4. Cookies and consent

The website uses technical cookies and, where present, non-essential tools subject to consent. Consent preferences are managed through Cookiebot; choices may be reviewed or changed at any time using the banner or the dedicated section. Any analytics or marketing tools will only be enabled after consent where required and will be listed in the updated Cookie Policy.

5. Processing methods, recipients and transfers

Data are processed using electronic and, where necessary, paper-based tools, with appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. They may be accessed by authorised personnel and by service providers supporting hosting, maintenance, email, booking management, consultancy and technical services, appointed as processors where required. Data are not publicly disclosed.

If a provider entails transfers outside the European Economic Area, the transfer will take place subject to the safeguards required by the GDPR.

Contact data are retained for the time needed to manage the enquiry and any ensuing relationship. Data relating to bookings and contractual relationships are retained for the duration of the relationship and for the further period required by applicable law, including tax and accounting obligations. Technical logs are retained only for the time necessary for security and operation.

7. Data subject rights

Where applicable under the GDPR, data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing; they may also withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. Requests may be sent to info@borgodilazise.it. Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.

8. Updates

This notice may be updated due to legal, technical or organisational changes. Users are invited to review it periodically.
